ABOUT ME

I was born and bred in Leicester and now live in the small village of Barlestone, on the Leicestershire and Warwickshire border, with my beautiful wife Lisa and our two children, Charlie, and Isla.

Lisa and I were childhood sweethearts in our teenage years. Life did it’s thing though and we went our separate ways for a while. Lisa got married and had a couple of kids (Charlie and Isla mentioned above), and I went travelling…..for the best part of 20 years, until Lisa finally realised that I was in fact the one, and we got back together.

When I’ve no camera in my hand (or there’s no editing to be done!) I love to be travelling with the family, playing guitar or paddleboarding. I’ve always loved being in, on, or around the water.

I also love a good pot of tea, (as well as the occasional glass of wine) movies, reading, comedy and live music gigs.

I’ve been creating images with light(s), camera, and action since my late teens, and without giving too much away it’s coming on to 25 years now (yes, I used to shoot film before embracing digital). I’ve professionally worked in underwater photography and videography (whilst I was a Scuba Instructor in Egypt), Real Estate and Commercial photography, Landscape and Wildlife photography (I was shortlisted for Outdoor Photographer of the year in 2015) and of course Portraiture and Wedding photography (both the UK and Internationally). I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some amazing people and visit truly amazing places.
